Quick Thermal Conductivity Tester QTM-700/QTM-710
Thermal conductivity: The amount of heat transferred per unit area of a material along the direction of heat flux at a unit temperature gradient per unit time. The unit is watts per meter Kelvin [W/(m · K)].
Local heating is carried out using a linear electrical conductor (hot wire) buried in the length direction of the sample, with the hot wire carrying a known constant power current, that is, the power remains constant in time and the length direction of the sample. The thermal conductivity can be calculated based on the power of the hot wire and the temperature at two known time intervals after heating. The temperature rise as a function of time is the thermal conductivity of the tested sample.
